To Whom It May Concern
As an accounts payable –Team lead in a real estate company for almost two years, it is great to see you have an open position available for cost accountant from startwire.
Besides processing invoices, tracking payments, and training new hires, majority of my day is solving problems. It could be problems brought up from the customers, clients, employees, or supervisors. The most challenged situation was how to communicate properly. I had one of my assistances who rejected the work I assigned, and I learned how to handle it a little different after a serious conversation with my supervisors. First, I need to understand what the person is talking about, and the person understand what I’m talking about, make sure there is no misunderstanding in between. Second, if someone made a mistake, using it’s my fault that I didn’t explained properly, and then explain to the person until he/she understands and is able to fix the mistake.
The major reason that I decide to leave my current position is salary. I’m looking for higher pay position so that I can cover my debts and save money. My desire salary is around 50,000.
I would appreciate the opportunity to meet with you to discuss my credentials further. Please let me know if you need additional information. I am available for an interview at your convenience. My contact information is listed on my resume. Thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely
Sandy Weng
