I served as the led Energy Consultant for a major multifamily housing project in Baltimore City with the housing authority representing Cesarie. As a Certified Energy Auditor I was selected by the firm to managed and coordinate the project Management Team’s overall energy assessment for Blower Door testing of 1,016 dwellings at the Gilmore Homes public housing project.
Project Maryland Public Service Commission: December 2013-May 2014
Consultant to Cesarie on contract with the Maryland Public Service Commission to evaluate emergency response plans submitted by the five major Maryland utility companies, Pepco, Potomac Edison, SMECO, Allegheny, Delmarva, and Choptank following the 2012 Derecho storm. Mr. Polite was assigned to Dr. Evans team of reviewer to evaluate proposed rate increases for the five (5) Maryland based utilities. His work led to a successful evaluation for Cesarie and accepted recommendations to the Maryland PSC.
Serving as Owners Representative on several church projects including Daycare Centers, Computer Lab Centers, new and renovation projects, whereby I executed the five phases of construction project management that included Pre – bidding protocols & contractor awarding. Planning to develop the project team roadmap for baseline purposes. After the Kick-off Meeting assign resources and set up tracking system/s. Measuring the project Performance & Monitoring phase also involves risk management, cost control measures and modifying project schedules. The Closure to completion of project and identify measured progress with lesson learned and create final project report.
At present, I’m serving as Owner’s Representative on Washington Baptist Seminary new school renovation project from purchase to construction that involves classroom renovation, computer lab center, new life safety building systems and energy saving lighting & hvac systems with a project price point of 1.2 million approximately upon completion.
