Contract

Designed, coded and tested GUI for a new generation of the OpenVisionTM, a hand-held live video X-ray imaging system used in industrial and security inspection applications:

Designed and implemented GUI for capturing live video images and displaying them on a hand held/device mounted LCD viewer or head mounted display.

Implemented code to allow communication between GUI and system’s hardware components including X-ray emitter, X-ray camera, Targeting camera, LEDs lights, Joystick, sounder and battery.

Designed and implemented GUI for post-processing Image manipulation.

Designed, coded and tested custom modification for the EasyCell blood cells recognition system:

•Auto-calibration functionality: Implemented custom option, which invokes calibration sequence for the instrument, when it chosen by the user or on Initial Startup, displays appropriate messages and reports status at the end of the calibration sequence.

•Active Directory Logins: Implemented custom option, which allows to login on the System without entering user’s credentials upon validation of the Software’s License.

•QC Image display: code modifications to improve the quality of the displayed images.

Designed and coded various applications supporting Food Services in DOD and large Hospital environments:

•Hospitality Suite: Implemented Add New/Edit Recipe functionality and multiple modifications for the major complex modules of the application.

•Suite Pay Everywhere: Designed and coded Employee Payroll Deduction application to process employee’s card payments at the register, charge purchases to the employee’s account and then deduct them from their paycheck.

•Financial Validation: designed and implemented front-end for the financial accountability system used by the DOD’s Food Services Units.

•Suite Point: Implemented Transaction Console module to allow user to review/monitor real time head-counts in various locations. Implemented Bulk Entry form for group sales and bulk feeding on Marine bases. Added functionality to the Nutrient Editor allowing an option to display nutrient information on cash register’s receipts.

Designed, coded and tested front end of the EasyCell blood cells recognition system, that allows the user to control how the microscope processes slides, reviews the images collected and provides the cell’s recognition training:

•Designed, created specification, test plans, and coded a tablet PC based Questionnaire application that allows users to collect data in user-customizable templates; completed questionnaires are sent from the remote PC to a specified location in XML format, for future use by other apps in the QDR Bone Densitometry family. Provided support and maintenance for the Questionnaire Designer app, which allows the user to create the custom templates.

•Participated in design, coding and testing of the InSight system; an app providing front-end support for display and storage of acquired digital images of the Fluoroscan x-ray instrument. Responsible for the UI, that maintained Patient information collection and data storage.

•As Software Engineer, member of the software development group participated in design, coding and testing of QDR–Infinity, an MDI Windows application for X-ray bone densitometers.

•Participated in design, construction of a complex conversion project targeting various sub-systems of the C2C app, a pre-paid wireless system.

•Analyzed requirements, designed and coded GUI for a multi-threaded subsystem that controlled the generation of new pre-paid calling card numbers. Participated in design and development of the client/server Recovery tool to allow the support group to monitor, manage and maintain the Customer Service subsystem.

•Worked with stakeholders to elicit requirements; implemented major enhancements to C2C including processing balance transfer information. Designed and coded Database Update Utilities that provided processing of various transactions on customer accounts.
