QUALIFICATIONS

●Experience using Autodesk Inventor, Creo Parametric 3.0 and SolidWorks for 3D modeling

●Four years of experience programming using MATLAB

●Experience using ANSYS FLUENT, Autodesk Simulation CFD and Star-CCM+ for CFD analysis

●Two years of experience utilizing ICEM CFD to create two-dimensional meshes, and one year of using ANSYS Workbench for three-dimensional meshes

●Experience using ANSYS and Creo Simulate 3.0 for FEA analysis.

●Able to create and read technical drawings

PROJECT EXPERIENCE

One year project as an undergraduate involving the research, design, and analysis of a variable-geometry rocket nozzle to improve fuel efficiency

One year senior capstone project designing a two-seat, supersonic trainer for the military to replace current trainer in a team of seven people

Replacing impellers in automotive water pumps in order to decrease costs without sacrificing pressure rise and efficiency

oGoal of remove material from impellers in aftermarket water pumps without sacrificing current performance

onew designs were created in Creo 5.0, simulated using Autodesk Simulation CFD, and experimentally tested for comparison against the previous design

Ground up design for new automotive centrifugal water pumps for customers using both steady and unsteady analysis.

oNumerically create the impeller and volute using Microsoft Excel, model the parts with Creo Parametric 3.0, and simulate parts in Star-CCM+ to ensure that the design meets customer specifications
