PROJECT SUPPORT (INTERNSHIP), Aug 2017 - Date
Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) Project Team:
Ensure the agreed project management methods, standards and processes are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
Assist the Project Manager in the production and maintenance of project plans.
Work as a Project Support for the Projects Team; Perform the duties assigned to me which include developing, organizing and maintaining the relevant filing, recording and reporting systems for files and documents
. Work closely with the Project Manager in the design and implementation of project management initiatives and systems for continuous improvement of project management workflows.
Work closely with the team members to ensure seamless workflow and accurate status updates of deliverables and reporting.
Maintain and update information on ongoing and upcoming projects, meetings and/or workshops, then communicate with the relevant individuals.
Coordinate, undertake and manage administrative and logistics duties as specified by the Project Manager and Chief Manager.
Coordinate with the various divisions in the department and liaise with the relevant staff members in the department as well as other departments e.g. Marketing, Research and IT. manager in the production and maintenance of project plans.

During my brief industrial attachment period at the institution, I gained valuable insight into various Public Relation aspects such as media relations and response, in-house branding and customer care services
I also had the opportunity to familiarize myself with different information systems.
I had the opportunity to put the theoretical public relation course work I had learned into practice in a real world work environment.
September 2012 – February 2013: trainer of trainees and oversight officer at IEBC
In the course of my employment at the organization, I was able to gain key management and supervisory skills.
