Project Title: Double pipe heat exchanger using titanium nanofluid (tio2) Description:
Heat transfer takes place in heat exchanger with the help of conventional fluid. By using nano fluid better result of heat transfer can be achieved. The main objective of our project to obtaining heat transfer enhancement using the titanium nano fluid is to accommodate high heat fluxes and hence to reduce the cost and size of heat exchanger which result in conservation of energy and material. 0.3%,0.2%,0.1% of nano fluid concentration is used. By using heat exchanger setup of counter flow process the performance of 1. Temperature distribution, 2.Pressure drop, 3.effectiveeness 4. Heat transfer coefficient of the system is obtained by varying flow rate, particle size and varying the particle concentration. Inplant Training
