Operations Supervisor

Scheduling and maintaining of 2 crews. One at Cargill’s main plant and a second satellite crew at U.S. Cold Storage. I would perform safety trainings, Health awareness trainings, Order accuracy, beef rotation as well as truck load and LTL scheduling. Heavy use of Microsoft Office and Excel throughout in this position. Driving to and from both locations for status updates between crews and other supervisors was daily. Acted as the operations liaison to assist in new project development with other department heads.

Increased order accuracy for eleven consecutive months through training, developing and managing production needs.

Decreased overtime by 9% in Boxed Beef production and 5% in distribution of boxed beef and binned beef.

Implemented employee development and engagement initiatives that assess and manage employee skills and productivity in compliance with company’s metrics and standards.
