Professional Experience:

Neurological Rehabilitation Center (NRC) 2010-2012

This is a two part company. One is the rehab side including physical, occupational and speech therapy, the other is the Para transit side which are subcontracts for Broward County. In addition Para transit also works with post physical therapy patients in implementing a supervised fitness program.

My role working for Para transit is a health evaluator. I work with a disabled population determining weather or not they meet ADA criteria and qualify for transportation. As an evaluator I go over all medical history including taking ones vitals and verifying the medical verification. The evaluation consists of two parts the cognitive exam and the functional exam. Depending on the outcome of the cognitive and functional assessments results in the ultimate finalization of acceptance program.

The goal at the NRC is to maximize lifestyle of the communities within Broward County. By providing door to door transportation to the disabled they are able to do daily chores like Dr, appointments, food shopping, and day to day living with greater ease at a low price.

Evolution of Fitness (EOF): 2009-present

This company has been around since 2006 in 2009 became co-owner of this health and fitness company. EOF mission statement is to promote an\ healthy lifestyle through exercise and proper nutrition. This company is primarily based out of a client’s home and or private gym facilities.

Provide a first time free evaluation to cliental consisting of vitals, body fat, and goal setting. From there a client can purchase a package which caters to their needs and budget.

Facilitating ones ability to reach the desired goal. Providing motivation through positive encouragement and frequent re-evaluations.

All programs are custom designed depending on goals, time, budget, physical limitations, and nutritional needs. Clients are not only given nutrition advised but also provided with suggested supplements if one chooses that route.
