Installed a T-1 telephone system in 3 days. Installed an Amada sheet metal laser/punch over a weekend. Installed a call center in less than a month with redundant phone system back-ups. Responsible for Kaizen work team meetings and implementation of cost saving suggestions.
As a result of moving BOM Kanban parts directly to the production line where product was assembled per Toyota Production System (TPS) guidelines reduced in-house inventory from 4 million to 2 million dollars and saved 20 percent of the total square footage in the plant.
Was instrumental in saving the company 800,000 dollars through the re-engineering of costly component parts, a computer automated nesting software program, and through the use of less expensive roll-threaded screws for panels instead of the more costly and labor-intensive rivets.

The hourly labor workers threatened to join the Teamsters due to a bonus incentive system that had been put in place by a consultant group. Through the inputs of the operators, I developed efficient work methods and fair labor time standards via MOST and stopwatch cycle times that resulted in quelling the operators’ animosity and thus the workers voted down the union.
Managed the production labor reports and incentive pay system of three hundred employees
Purchased a million-dollar state of the art tenter frame, bleaching and dyeing and finishing equipment for enhanced fabric quality and to stay globally competitive in the textile industry
