Installed a T-1 telephone system in 3 days. Installed an Amada sheet metal laser/punch over a weekend. Installed a call center in less than a month with redundant phone system back-ups. Responsible for Kaizen work team meetings and implementation of cost saving suggestions.
As a result of moving BOM Kanban parts directly to the production line where product was assembled per Toyota Production System (TPS) guidelines reduced in-house inventory from 4 million to 2 million dollars and saved 20 percent of the total square footage in the plant.
Was instrumental in saving the company 800,000 dollars through the re-engineering of costly component parts, a computer automated nesting software program, and through the use of less expensive roll-threaded screws for panels instead of the more costly and labor-intensive rivets.
