February 2016 – Present

Manager of Customer Planning function within Automotive OEM Coatings USCA operations planning team. Core team responsibilities include production planning of finished good and intermediate supply, production scheduling, raw material procurement, order management, customer service, and management of $42MM inventory.

● Manage team of six customer planning coordinators and one tote manager responsible for the regional reusable container fleet.

● Process owner for planning and procurement stream and also managed supporting impacted functions as part of a full Oracle R12 ERP replacement project for our business unit that went live August 2017. New systems implemented include ASCP, OPM, Demantra, and OBIEE--these replaced legacy homegrown ERP applications and required full business process redesign.

Lean Six Sigma Black Belt – PPG Automotive OEM Coatings December 2014 – January 2016

Team member of the Enterprise Improvement Team responsible for process improvements across the Automotive OEM Coatings business to increase throughput, eliminate waste, and reduce variation.

● Led RIW and implemented process improvements for the after-fill process that cut cycle time 75%, improved visibility, and enabled further continuous improvement through development of a system of record.

● Drove development of personal performance metrics, visual WIP management, and data analysis in QC to aid in cycle time reduction through improving throughput and aiding with process compliance.

● Collaborated with manufacturing leadership on metrics development and ad-hoc analysis for manufacturing to drive process compliance, quality, and productivity improvements. This included development of a RFQ for an integrated MES and SCADA system to provide stronger process control and feedback for continuous improvement on the shop floor.

● Transitioned to site lead for Cleveland implementation of Oracle R12 ERP to rigorously document business

requirements, manage project complexity, and communicate succinctly to the rest of the business stakeholders. Accountable for the site implementation.

● Selected to be a participant in a year long Americas Emerging Leadership Development (ELD) program which included leadership development modules and business projects that were presented to officers of the company.

● Collaborated with various directors to establish vision and strategy for global IT systems to drive operational improvements through standard work and best practices.

● Directly responsible for focused improvements in manufacturing and quality systems which included the initial development of a suite of tools used in QC to be implemented globally across multiple ERP systems.
