Dear Representative:

I am seeking a senior level position working as the Senior Creative/Web Specialist - Art Director. I have over twenty years of experience and the enterprise background and expertise to design for a total user experience, using appropriate web/graphic design, multi-media products and creative direction. I have produced award-winning marketing materials alongside digital web content for Duke Energy and other premier organizations. I have also successfully lead design teams where websites where developed that resulted in increased membership on a quarter-to-quarter basis for Mortgage Bankers Association. This was significant because prior to the new websites that I took the lead in developing, membership rates had been flat year-to-year. To produce highly usable websites that are aesthetically pleasing and effective, I take into consideration content, information architecture, visual design and infrastructure. My approach for producing a total user experience encompasses visceral, behavioral and reflective aspects of design and written content. My award winning designs come from an appreciation of the full user experience, from their initial awareness of the solution to reaching the end goal. I collaborate well among a team of designers, information architects, content editors, IT and the users, providing leadership in generating innovative designs and approaches. I make appropriate use of the latest technologies to achieve a tight integration with suppliers and potential customers

(e.g. use of Desktop Publishing, Web 2.0 principles, AJAX). These aspects of design are reflected in my portfolio.

I look forward to applying my content management mastery and innovative techniques with an understanding of user wants and needs to deliver your companies goals in a fast- paced environment. You may view my portfolio at aaportfolio.com, and I have attached my resume for your review. Thank you in advance for considering my candidacy and I look forward to discussing how I may contribute to your success. You can reach me at 704-***-****. Sincerely,

Anthony M. Ancruem
