Recruited to direct multiple technical functions for a contract electronics manufacturing company. Charged with improving manufacturing engineering capabilities and processes. Manage activities to improve quality, optimize processes and reduce defects.

Provide leadership in the development of manufacturing processes and tooling to control void under BT components, which has resulted in $5 Million in cost avoidance.

Effectively achieved significant quality improvements (<0.5R/1000) in multiple new products, prior to launch.

Selected to lead Engineering, including process and automation of startup operation in the footwear industry.

Delivered significant improvements far beyond goals and expectations in both quality and cost reduction (in excess of $1.5 Million annually) through the development of an industry-first automation technology.

Deputy Plant Manager, Visteon JV, Chongqing, China (2010-2015)

Solder Interconnect Technical Fellow / Multimedia SBU (1994-2000)

Supported seven electronics plants, reviewing machine specification, and performing machine acceptance and launch. Conducted on site support and training, and provided technical expertise to troubleshoot challenges. Applied expertise to developing wave and selective solder design rules for PWB, and tested rules through experiment design. Worked with suppliers to develop and implement new technologies in both selective and wave solder machines. Conducted multiple joint developments at supplier sites.
