Supply Chain Supervisor

--Manage a team of 9-12 Supply Chain professionals in Milwaukee, St Louis and Sheboygan. Led the group to reduced backlog, bringing inventory down to $675M (from $715M at beginning of 2014), absorbed Buyers into the planning department after the buyout with EMD Millipore, cross trained the Buyers into Planning roles, and the Planners into Buying.

--Manage weekly overnight batch processing as part of the sysadmin team within Planning that ran multiple batch jobs across SAP, Grasp forecasting, and DRP systems.

--Create materials in SAP, schedules and transmitted monthly demand to Corning on a branded project line. Work with vendor on availability, scheduling, and any demand/spike issues that arose. Create monthly purchase requisitions and acted as liaison between internal sales teams and outside vendors.

--Engage with Procurement department to identify and develop ten vendors and their relationship with the company, leading to increased service, decreased inventory on hand, and a better working relationship with those vendors.

--Led Planning review program for demand-item packaging supplies, reducing inventory in the warehouse through kanban principles and re-ordering by the end use departments.

--Created detailed, distinct schedules for 300 top dollar and high volume materials in two packaging departments in Milwaukee, resulting in decreased backorders and increased service levels.

--Coordinate the movement of work, process flows, and training during the transition of our downtown facilities to the new campus that was built at Teutonia Ave. Worked at both locations and oversaw the execution of work during the transition with minimal loss in productivity.

Packaging/Production Clerk

August 2000 - March 2002

--Responsible for scheduling of Packaging Work Orders at two facilities in downtown Milwaukee that broke down large bulk purchases to smaller finished goods skus to sell to external customers and restock global distribution centers.

--Received training on GRASP (external forecasting software) and SAP.

--Teamed with Information Services as the SME for the roll-out of Labels-On-Demand, a new system in which labels for work orders were printed directly on the production floor rather than the traditional two day turnaround of the internal print shop.

--Supported a packaging site to achieve a record of zero backorder lines.

--Promoted in March 2002 as the first Planning and Scheduling Specialist in any of the Wisconsin facilities.

PERSONAL EXPERIENCE

Riverwest24, 2008 - 2017

Organizer/Executive Producer/Founder of a local, neighborhood bike ride that brought together the community for a 24 hour bicycle ride / endurance challenge / community event.

--Helped promote and grow our ridership from 188 riders in 2008 to over 1300 in 2017.

--Ran the finance side of the race, including bookkeeping, paying invoices and purchasing permits from the city of Milwaukee.

--Recruited and trained other volunteers to help with the ride, acted as Race Marshall for many years, responding to complaints, police, or neighborhood concerns in real time.
