• Responsible for executing complexes engineering tasks on a challenging multi-billion-dollar project; 1600MW Dominion Greensville Country Combined Cycle Power Project:

• Execution of all the control work for Greensville project using Emerson Ovation DCS

• Performed various tasks in a team environment; coordination with team, vendors, construction crews, client and many other inter-disciplinary groups

• Executed instrumentation and control system design deliverables (P&ID review, Single Line diagram, control narrative, instrument list, instrument datasheets, vendor documents, Isometric drawings, I/O list, Graphics layout, Logic diagrams, instrument installation details, database management etc.) combined cycle power plant.

• Participated in DCS FAT (Emerson Ovation DCS) and Steam Turbine control system FAT (Alstom Alspacare system)

2/2007 – 9/2015: Principle I&C / Electrical Engineer, at AREVA

• Responsible for providing electrical engineering support for multi-million complex fast track projects:

Duke (Oconee MSIV, Fukushima mitigation projects, Robinson fire repair and upgrade projects)

Steam Generator Replacement project (Diablo Canyon, Three Mile Island, Waterford3, TVA)

Federal Government Project (MOX, ITER)

• Performed cyber security assessment, determination and evaluation for Duke FLEX project in accordance with duke procedures (nuclear industry standard NEI 08-09 - equivalent to NIST 800-53)

• Developed engineering and procurement specification (for various electrical equipment, cable, raceway, boxes, fitting, etc.), bill of material (BOM) and issued requisition packages for their procurement.

• Developed electrical deliverable including single line diagram, wiring diagram, control circuit schematics, equipment layout drawings, instrument loop diagrams, raceway routing drawings, lightning protection design drawings, work packages, various study reports, etc.

• Developed and reviewed electrical calculations (voltage drop, cable sizing, load flow, etc).

• Developed modification packages for various power plants for inside and outside the nuclear reactor containment for use during steam generator replacement and other projects per following utility approved modification program to meet the NRC requirements:

PG&E (Diablo Canyon Unit 1 and 2), Exelon (Three Mile Island Unit 2), Entergy (Waterford Unit 1 and 2), Duke (Oconee Units 1, 2, 3), Progress (Brunswick Units 1 and 2, Robinson)

• Conducted field walk downs/inspections, scope validation, proposed engineering modifications and outlined test plans in accordance with respective facility procedures and applicable regulations (e.g. NRC)

• Successfully supported duties as a lead electrical and I&C engineer, project engineering manager (PEM) including client interface, schedule development, budget development, training, technical team management, mentoring junior engineer/designers, and construction support during modifications and plant outage
