August 2017 to November 2017 – Ascension/Via Christi as Interim Executive Director of a CCRC.
November 2016 to June 2017 – Skyline Healthcare/Golden Living as Nursing Home Administrator. developed budgets, recruited staff, trained staff per new organization, improved survey results, filled facility vacancies. Worked to improve service of facility and bring reputation to a higher standard.
March 2016 to September 2016 – Interim position at Windridge Nursing and Rehabilitation.
August 2011 to March 2016 - College Hill Nursing and Rehab for AltaCare/Legacy on College Hill. This facility has been operated by Alta Care for 13 years and had not meet budget and had surveys that did not meet standards. In February 2012 received 4 tags from surveyors and had desktop review. Deficiencies since were related to environment, due to dated building and furniture. As of 2012 facility making budget. When took over census was 59, but our census has increased to 70’s. Completed remodel of building last year. Purchased by a new organization November 01, 2015.
December 2008 to August 2011 - Deseret Health Group - Serving as Administrator for 2 skilled facilities for this company. First facility I started with was Arma. The facility had lost 250K in 2008 and by the end of 2009 our NOI was 350K positive. Again in 2010 our NOI is approx 400K positive. Was able to stabilize staffing and improve quality of care and service. I have had 2 years of zero Fire Marshal surveys and 3 tags for nursing each year consisting of a D level or less. I was also assigned to the companies skilled facility in Oswego, Ks. Here they had the Administrator walk out without notice and had been unable to clear survey tags after 3 visits. Was able to clear tags and bring staffing in line with corporate standards. At both facilities I have been assigned to do the Marketing. The reputation of the communities improved, as well as, bringing the care and service level to a higher standard.
