Employee Guide for Performance Previews

The overall process for our Performance Previews:

Employee Actions:

Step 1

1.You will receive an email to begin Performance Preview.

2.Click the link in the email to Login.

3.Go to My Account>My Actions>Begin Updated Employee Performance Preview.

4.Write the performance preview. Keep in mind there are four (4) pages to this Preview (one page for each question). You can navigate to the pages by clicking on “Page 1” or “Page 2.” Here you can click on “Save” to save your work.

5.Click on “Submit”, and then “Yes” (to submit for review by your Manager).

Your Reviewer will schedule a conversation with you to discuss your Performance Preview and is responsible for Step 4. Step 5

1.You will receive an email after Step 4 letting you know that your final Performance Preview is ready for your

acknowledgement (of receipt).

2.Click the link in the email to Login.

3.Click on the “pencil and square” icon to view the final Performance Preview document. After reviewing it, click the “back” button and click “Approve” to acknowledge receipt.

Your Performance Preview has been completed.

Step 2

1.You will receive an email after Step 1 letting you know that you need to give manager’s feedback on the Employee’s draft Performance Preview document.

2.Click the link in the email to Login.

3.On your dashboard, you will see a to do item with a “Modify” button. Click on the “Modify” button to add your feedback. Please do not edit the Employee’s feedback. Instead, please type your comments in the Manager’s text box.

4.When done, click on the “Modify” button to complete this step. DO NOT CLICK ON “SUBMIT”.

Step 4

1.You will receive an email after Step 3 letting you know that the HR has approved/rejected the draft Performance Preview and that it’s time to schedule the Performance Preview Conversation with your Employee. (If Rejected, make revisions via the Modify process to send back to HR for additional review.

2.Schedule and hold the Performance Preview Conversation.

3.When finished with the meeting, login to the system.

4.On your dashboard, you will see a to do item with a “Modify” button. Click on the “Modify” button to edit the Performance Preview document. When finished editing, click on the “Modify” button to finalize the Preview.

The Employee will receive and email prompting Step 5.

Step 3

5.You will receive an email after Step 2 letting you know that you need to review the Employee’s draft Performance Preview document.

6.Click the link in the email to Login.

7.On your dashboard, you will see a to do item with a “Modify” button. Click on the “Modify” button to add your feedback. Please do not edit either the Employee’s or the Reviewer’s feedback.

8.When done, click on the “Approve” or “Reject” button to complete this step. DO NOT CLICK ON “SUBMIT”.
