Database Design & Implementation Project ( Cut Glass Mosaic & Tile Company) Fall 2015

§ Designed a logical Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD) by examining the company’s current job estimation and costing system, to represent data storage needs and business rule implementation.

§ Produced a physical database model to accommodate company’s reporting needs.

§ Developed a prototype of the database using SQL server and checkedthe robustness of the model using test data set and SQL Queries.

Implementation of Business Intelligence System for Renown Spring 2016

§ Our project is to enlighten a hospital (Renown Regional & Medical Center) the advantages of implementing a Business Intelligence system for better decision making, problem solving and to improve customer satisfaction.

§ Our goals in this project was to design a database, populate the data, perform ETL process, define the Key Performance Indicators, and visualize the data and explain why these Key Performance Indicators provide a significant change in the Organization.

§ Our project was to find evidence from the flash drives, hard disks, CD’s and DVD’s of an internal employee in an organization.

§ Using the EnCase software we were able to find evidence which proved that the employee was committing fraud by doing computer forensics.

§ To identify options for use of an open source library that is able to reliably provide statistical evaluation of trend data.

§ In lieu of identification of open source options, we prepare technical implementation of such a library de novo.

Drug/Alcohol Abuse using Youth risk behavior surveillance system:

§ Identify dependency between alcohol/drug usage with respect to Gender, Race and Grade among High school students.

§ Construct a Generalized linear model for the prediction of percentage of students who will be involved in Drug/Alcohol abuse with respect to gender, race and grade.
