RELEVANT PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Training and Doctrine Command Capability Manager for Unmanned Aircraft Systems, Fort Rucker, AL, 2014-Present
Represented the Army Aviation Center as an Unmanned Aircraft subject matter expert for various Army and Department of Defense wide experimentation efforts, and participated in the development of the Man-Unmanned Teaming (MUM-T) Hand Book, implementing a new diverse concept of reconnaissance with helicopters and UAS training, communicating and performing as a team.
Thorough understanding of UAS and UMS software. Managed and conducted multiple Validation/Verifications of both the “Legacy” and “V2 TCDL” Shadow systems and the Gray Eagle UAS.
Developed emerging concepts and integrated technologies on existing Army UAS. Directly involved with the modeling, simulation and experimentation of Army UAS into future Army formations. Coordinated, synchronized and integrated UAS efforts across the Aviation Enterprise.
Managed and implemented operational employment training concepts and requirements for the MQ-1C Gray Eagle UAS, RQ-7B Shadow UAS, the UMS, and the OSRVT in accordance with current Army and manned aviation requirements.
Flight Operations, Site Lead / UAS Platoon Sergeant, 217th Cavalry Regiment, Fort Campbell, KY, 2011-2014
Oversaw one of the most successful Army Aviation Resource Management Survey (ARMS) inspections of a UAS unit. The team was personally recognized by the Brigade Commander for receiving commendable ratings in all areas.
Supervised all facets of flight operations and maintenance in support of a Brigade Combat Team and Joint Task Force throughout a twelve month deployment in Afghanistan with split-site operations.
Managed and developed a comprehensive Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) tailored to the unique capabilities of a UAS team operating within hazardous conditions.

Supervised over 200 incident free missions throughout the duration of the unit’s deployment in support of Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan.
Assessed and provided supervision on instructor operator training and Readiness Level progression enhancing the unit’s performance level.
Managed the troubleshooting and repair of Universal Ground Control Stations, Universal Ground Data Terminals, and Shadow UAS Hardware and Software.
UAS Senior Mission Commander/Operator, 502nd Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, Fort Campbell, KY, 2004-2007
Served as a Mission Commander, Squad Leader, Senior Trainer, and Senior Operator from New Equipment Training (NET) through a 12-month deployment in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom 05-06.
Managed, planned, trained, instructed, tactically employed and streamlined Launch and Recovery site operations that provided an unmatched level of reconnaissance and surveillance mission support to Multi-National Forces-Iraq and Other Coalition Forces-Iraq culminating in the execution of over 1,200 combat sorties.
Recognized by the Strike Brigade Task Force Commander for outstanding performance as the platoon’s launch and recovery site NCOIC and Senior Mission Commander.
Created and implemented TTPs that directly contributed to the platoon achieving over 2,000 incident/accident free hours as an Army UAS platoon.
