Workday Highlights

I am an Independent Workday Consultant since 2012 specializing in Workday Global Implementation – 7 implementations so far. Global Regions consist of (AMER, EMER, LATAM, APAC). I am well versed in HCM modules including (HCM, Advanced Compensation, Benefits, Payroll Management, Talent Management, Recruiting, Audit and Internal Controls)

I have niche that is working very well as I am a liaison between the Workday Partner and Client concentrating on the following area.

Data Validation:

1. I am the owner of this task and no one else - Validating against all Setup configuration and EE data loads to ensure 100% accuracy.

2. Instructing the Data Conversion team on creating ILOADs, EIB, and flat files.

3. Creating numerous ILOADs and EIB's for implementation and post live.

4. Data Validation Metrics - Providing Metrics for Executive Steering Committee and PMO to ensure accuracy of the data conversion between Legacy System and Workday.

Testing:

1. Test Lead on all BP's and Integrations, hire testers as needed, create test scenarios and providing metrics for management team. Utilizing Excel, SharePoint, Jara, or HPQC LAM.

2. Testing all BP's and working closely with SME's/Champions to accurately test and retest areas for proper configuration. Areas of HCM, Talent Management/Recruiting, Payroll and Benefits.

3. Full BP process understanding of all BP’s to troubleshoot testing failures and do deep dive into them for condition rules.

Integrations:

1. Integration Design Docs - writing integration design specs and working directly with Integration Lead to ensure the docs pass DA review. In addition I work closely with the Integration Developers on calc fields and ensure proper testing is being done.

Report Writing:

1. Create all data validation reports for setup and EE data Iloads.

2. Create additional reporting and dashboards per SMEs/Champions as P3, Gold, Prod get built.

Advanced Compensation:

1. Specialist at reviewing Advance Compensation setups to ensure proper Condition Rules are created and that ILOADs and EIB are properly created so that Total Base Pay calculates accurately.

2. Solid knowledge on Advance Compensation configuration and interaction with Job Profiles.

Benefits:

1. Benefit Open Enrollment testing as I am an expert in this area, ensure Benefit configuration rules are setup correctly and online open enrollment works flawlessly.

2. Benefit Reporting - creating accurate reports on both current EE's and Future Benefit data to ensure accuracy of data on reports.

Payroll:

1. Payroll testing, parallel testing, data validation, and payroll reporting.

2. Assist Payroll team with running payroll, processing results, creating both Iloads and EIBs data loads.

3. Payroll GL Accounting Posting Rule setups and validating results on general ledger accounts.

4. For Clients using External Payroll Results and Actuals – I create and load in the EIBs and report of the Results and Actual data.

Talent Management/Recruiting:

1. Full Testing of these BP’s with in their modules and writing reports on data.

Training:

1. Catchup period during Go-Live: Training HRIS team on EIB creations during catchup period.

2. Assist in training SME’s for BP data entry.

Change Management:

1. Create Job Aides or share the ones that I have create to team to jump start this area and give them insight and ideas on what Change Management is with Workday.

2. Provide training wherever it is needed.
