Prepared preliminary Extension Of Time (EOT) claim for identifying delay events for onshore fabrication schedule deviations and 40 months of offshore Hook-up & Commissioning (HUC) schedule changes.
Prepared high-level and detail-level EOT claim for obtaining the exemption of 290 million dollars valued Liquidate Damage (LD) that involved 1,084 days of project delays resulting in additional 633 million dollars to DSME the contract.
Administrative manager – DAEWOO Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering (DSME)

Established Budget for the HUC cost valued 562 million dollars from March 2015 to March 2018 by ascertaining the original budget applied to contract, cooperating with persons in charge of each account, defining the cost calculation process by using Excel formula, macro and functions, and managing the cost to prevent from occurring unexpected cost.
Secured the quality of internet for increase offshore work efficiency and saved the cost of 196,812 dollars totally from 2016 June to 2018 March by researching new internet provider which can provide good quality service and engineer whenever needed and then negotiated the service fee and contracted with new provider.
Saved the husbandry cost for 856,800 dollars totally from 2016 June to 2018 March by ordering my staffs to research chartered airplane cost and operating information and then developed the operation plan, analyzed and originated the cost comparison report, and contracted and initiated for execution.

Stewarded to invoice 2,816 of 2,921 million dollars, as of 27 January, 2018, according to agreed progress measurement and payment procedure which reviewed and compared DSME and sub-contractors’ own procedure, and negotiated and finalized it to comply with project control procedures of contract with client. Measured the progress for invoice and analyzed its trend.
Reviewed and developed level 1 and 2 integrated project schedules of all scope of work with other 8 companies. Developed baseline and forecast progress and schedules and analyzed its trend between them. Analyzed and reviewed the schedule impact of project changes. Discussed and reviewed recovery plan with discipline experts whenever occurred delay events which could be used for lessons learned. Recorded all project history information.
Obtain the certification of Primavera P6 Enterprise Project Portfolio Management 8 Certified Implementation Specialist from Oracle to enforce my experience of handling resources in Primavera schedules.
Enhanced customer relationship through regular status reporting and problem solving meeting, and attending the DSME internal meetings and collecting the related information about issued problems, and then advised client the information and articulated the solution which implemented internally to client.
Minimum 1,033 reports were issued by assigning a staff for regular reports for client and checking up the contents’ quality, teaching the staffs Microsoft Excel VBA and Macro to handle the big data, and prepared 33 pages manual for handling data and writing report to train them. Interpreted, synthesized and categorized data received from all disciplines. Wrote all irregular reports for presenting to high ranked client and supporting to internal high managements’ decision making with exclusive responsibility.
Developed and issued 11 Contractor Work Estimate (CWE) of 8.6 million dollars value to client and worked with other for 1 big Change Order Request (COR) of 633 million dollars by discussing with contract manager for initiating changes. Analyzed the change and facilitated the meetings with discipline’s experts for rapid analysis. Collected information and synthesized, evaluated the cost to prepare CWEs and issued officially.
Planner and Scheduler – DAEWOO Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering (DSME)

Used Primavera P6 for developing level 1 and 2 schedules to support the project marketing team to win 6 contracts totally 11.7 billion dollars valued. Success of the won tenders involved on estimating construction man-hours, collecting and categorizing actual information, investigating and using previous as-built projects’ project execution plans and comparing with project proposals, and preparing detailed Level 1 and 2 project schedules with estimated direct cost.
Set up the man-power security plan of core workers for long range construction planning on 19,205 workers by defining core and non-core work, classifying current core workers, analyzing work load for long range 5 years, setting up the man-power requirements and security plan for core workers, reviewed with experts and implemented.
Won contracts of 42 ships valued 5,297 million dollars in 2005, 37 ships valued 6,272 million dollars in 2006, and 115 ships valued 15,133 million dollars in 2007 and won the Project Achievement Award from DSME by defining applicable factors for estimating construction man-hours, collecting and categorizing the actual information, investigating the as-built projects’ project execution plan and comparing with bidding project and budgeting the man-hours for construction.
