CUSTOMER: POWER SYSTEMS BUSINESS UNIT INDIA

Project based on Design and Development of SKID and ENCLOSEURE for Upgraded KTAA38 Diesel engine.

ROLES & RESPONSIBLITIES:

• Design & Development of Skid for different types of Alternators with Heat Exchanger combination and Alternators with Radiators combination.

• Commonizing the Skid for Single bearing Alternators

• Support for DVA and iDFMEA analysis of subbase system. 2. PROJECT- QSK95 MARINE GENSET

CUSTOMER: DISTRIBUTION BUSINESS UNIT (DBU)

Project based on Design and development of SKID, AIRCLEANER Components for QSK95 Diesel Electric Genset.

Worked on Various components like HEA, HEB Beams, Air cleaner supports, tubes and brackets, Engine mounting Brackets, Control panel brackets, Oil sump brackets, Gussets, Torsion box and Support channels.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Selection of Beams like HEA & HEB beams for Skid based on Strength, Weight Reduction & Cost Reduction.

• Designing & Suggesting New Concepts and Modifying Existing parts as per New Requirement.

• Work with Analysis Lead Design (ALD) Team (Structural, CFD) to create models, changes in models, analysing models.

• Creating BOM, Maintaining Supplier Part lists, Creating Drawing and Checking as per DBU standards and ASME Standards

• Interacting with manufacturing peoples, global peoples and plant people to solve the problems, part implementation in Oracle and part approvals in PLM

• Doing DFA Analysis for Hardwares.

Project Based on Globalizing the Alternator Products, Upgrading the Alternators by Increasing the Core Length to obtain Different KVA's

It is a Cost reduction project with more reliability and compatibility. Worked on various component like DE Adapter, NDE Adapter, Shaft, Fan, Frame and Enclosure from Development to Production.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Designing & Modifying the existing parts of generator components using Creo 2.0 and releasing through PDM, PLM & Oracle.

• Making Schematic and General assembly Drawings in AutoCAD.

• Creating parts list, Maintain purchased part list, Splitting work to team members, doing Drawing Quality Check as per Cummins standards and ASME, AWS standards.

• Work with ALD Team (Structural, CFD) and Electrical team to create models, changes in models, analysing models and creating electrical specification.

• Checking quantity, calculating quantity, solving BOM problems in PLM, Oracle and checking EBOM and MBOM for costing.

• Raising ECRs & ECOs, documenting the supplier feedback, changes and releasing the changes in PLM & Oracle.

• Interacting with Manufacturing,Global,Plant people to solve the problems, part implementation in Oracle and part approvals in PLM JOB LOCATION - ATLANTIS LAB PVT.
