Process Plant Improvement Projects (1986 to Present) Budgets: $5M to $325M Inspection and recommendation for repairs and construction oversight of critical cooling water systems including hot swap upgrades of 250 HP pumps with 500 HP pumps and 500 HP to 1000 HP. Included redesign of the concrete forebays and piping header system for the added capacity. 100% Electrical review completed to check the new loads. Design and installation of FRP negative air systems for a waste water treatment plant to minimize neighbor concerns. Systems included scrubbers, and carbon filtration polishing effluent systems for a major water treatment plant in Southern California

Mechanical Integrity Projects (1986 to 2010) Budgets: $2M to $10M Served as project/site manager on dozens of mechanical projects that included rotating equipment such as turbines, pumps, cooling towers, and process vessels, electrical and piping replacements. Performed inspections first hand and managed outside inspection specialists for pipelines conforming to U.S. DOT/PHMSA. Specialists include vibration, oil, thermographic, smart pig and stress analysis.

Provided rotating equipment inspection and recommendation for repairs/alignments to minimize process downtime at a major chemical plant, including oil and vibration analysis, color thermography, and laser alignments. Education & Certifications
