Cuttingprocessbymeansofoxygenandacetyleneflametorch,rosebuds,tracktorches, plasmacuttingrigsand41/2to8inchcuttingwheels.Thestresstestwasperformedbyusing atrackoperatedsystemwithupto15to20teninchburnerswithheatinexcessof1200 degreesover45minutesto11/2hourduration.Afterthetestwascomplete,a3to4hour coolingperiodwasallowed,thenthefinalinspectionofallweldswasperformedtoindicateany possiblecracksforflawsontheexistingwelds.
