Lead and managed a group of five IT professionals, responsible for IT contract negotiations, project management and delivery of departmental and cross-functional projects. Managed a budget of $1.5m. Staff member of the board of directors for the organization.

• Instituted threat mitigation systems from desktop to email to network edge. This included Sophos Anti- virus/ransomware (Intercept X), IPS/IDS, content filtering, site blocking, Mimecast multilevel email threat mitigation – including antiwhaling, anti-phishing, anti-malware, and archiving, VPN and other strategies. Re- instituted and updated patch management system and policies, implemented encrypted IT password repository database.

• Implemented HIPAA / HITECH policies, conducted several assessments and remediation projects.

• Saved organization $50,000 / year by negotiating new contracts with ISPs and implementing L2L VPN.

• Conducted upgrades to Exchange Server 2013 and Active Directory 2012R2, and Outlook employee photos.
