Position: Senior Systems Engineer

PROJECT #1: CoC 24x7 (Data Delivery management to the primary sales team in IBM) Role: Global Lead for End-to-End Data Delivery Management Responsibilities:

• Managed project resources, progress, completion timeframes and budget while exceeding key operational performance targets.

• Deployed the Kanban board as a part of Agile, to plan and execute seamless timely

(within SLAs) data delivery (24x7) between all applications within the landscape for 3 different geographies having 3 different SLAs within a day.

• Led successful deployment for feeds by working with different cross functional teams and combating difficult timelines thus ensuring minimal impact on the business.

• Developed the trend of the data volume as well as possible risks flowing through the supply chain through data analysis which helped my team in keeping the all the stakeholders informed.

• Managed & Enabled teams to solve technical challenges, especially when they involve negotiation between multiple business or technical stakeholders within prescribed SLAs.

• Created the risk mitigation plan by conducting risk analysis to prioritize the risks based on their probability and impact.

Both the projects were built using the lotus notes technology platform i.e. collaboration and workflow using lotus script & formula language.

• Implemented all the SDLC phases viz end to end development of requirements right from requirements gathering, effort estimation, high level and low-level design creation, test cases creation, coding, system integration & user Acceptance testing support and deployment under waterfall methodology. Was involved in active client interaction through all these phases.

• Saved 70% efforts of the data entry users and 40% cost by creating an agent which would create documents from the text file for several geographies.

PROJECT# 3: Mitsubishi Motor Corporation

IBM maintained and enhanced various systems that Mitsubishi had in the Mainframe and Java technology for various aspects of their business, which included Quality, Job Scheduling and Logistics etc.

Roles: Primary Japanese Language translator and interpreter Responsibilities:

• Worked with 8 different teams of Mainframe and Java technology as Primary translator

& interpreter.

• Translated technical documents and project communication from (E-J) (J-E).

• Reviewed the work of junior translators.

• Successfully delivered basic Japanese language training to Mitsubishi project engineers over 2 months.

PROJECT# 4: Deal Hub Japan

Deal Hub brought together the functional capability and all of the business unit capability of IBM to support sellers while dealing with a customer from the bid process to the closure of the deal.

Roles: Primary Japanese Language translator and interpreter Responsibilities:

• Worked as a primary Japanese Language Interpreter and Translator, across 5 teams.

• Translated technical documents and project communication from (E-J) (J-E).

• Worked onsite at Tokyo, Japan through the Deal Hub Japan project for 2.5 months and was involved in knowledge transfer, interpretation during calls and translation of mail communication between the onshore and offshore teams as well as clients.

• Successfully implemented common practice for collaborated working between India and Japan team.

Additional responsibilities at Organization level at IBM

• Worked actively as End to End Manager along with HR team for Cultural Pillar of IBM Club.

• Conceptualized the event by finalizing the budget, negotiating with vendors & procurement team, collaborating with multi location teams, forming team, prioritizing tasks, assigning tasks to team members, getting various things like materials, logistics in place and coordinating the work across all 6 locations.
