Please find enclosed my CV and application for the summer Co-Op positions in HR and Project Management. As a long-time admirer of RPI Consulting Group, I am honoured to apply for this position. Throughout my education and work experiences, I have sharpened my ability to break down a business problem into components, learned to adapt a range of demanding environments and developed the skills necessary to communicate with stakeholders from across the spectrum. I believe the skills I have developed through diverse educational and work experiences make me a unique candidate for this position.

My education in psychology at the University of Waterloo combined with my studies in Human Resource management at George Brown College have given me a unique perspective on the vital function HR and project management play in the workplace. As a long time server and teammate in various customer service environments, I have seen first-hand how managers interact with employees at different levels of the organization. These experiences, combined with my passion for psychology inspired me to pursue a career in Human Resources. It is my goal to work in a large organization like RPI Consulting Group because I want to hone in on a field that I know I can excel in. Throughout my professional career, I have seen the good, the bad and the ugly in Human Resource management. I have been blessed with wonderful managers who care deeply for their employees, and I have also experienced managers who lash out and humiliate their employees. This leads me to believe I would be able to contribute at a high level to any professional HR team, especially at RPI Consulting Group. RPI Consulting Group offers an environment that I know will lead me to developing a robust skillset. I am very interested and excited about some of the technology initiatives going on at the firm, especially in relation to HR and project management. Outside of school I am extremely interested in the intersection between business and technology. Data analytics and digitization are poised to transform the HR field, and I am keen to develop an appreciation and skillset in these areas. As a company on the cutting edge of these technologies, the prospect of working for RPI Consulting Group is tremendously appealing to me.

My academic studies at the University of Waterloo and George Brown College have prepared me for this position. The combination of strong analytical coursework in psychology and Human Resource management, combined with an ability to write clearly have given me an advantage throughout my educational and professional journey. I am proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Project with more than ten years of experience using Microsoft Office at school and other extra curricular activities. I believe that my extensive work experience in demanding service environments have prepared me well for a career in HR and project management.
