Responsible for the daily operations and reporting in a fast paced, highly specialized, air- conditioning and power generator facility. Primary customers were military/government entities and commercial industries such as Caterpillar and US Steel. Accountable for multiple sites, numerous departments and as many as 300 personnel.

Significant contributor in growth of company from 18 personnel to over 300, growth of manufacturing space from 20,000 sq. ft to over 225,000 sq. ft., and annual revenue growth from $2m to $120m.

Oversight of facility expansions, site closures and consolidation, and redirection of manufacturing approach from purchase and assemble to a self-sufficient/in-house business unit.

Instrumental in movement from batch production to single piece flow cells utilizing Kaizen disciplines and lean principles increasing productivity as much as 30%.

Managed the production of specialized machinery for the window, door, and glass industry. Included six departments, 40 personnel, and $8m in worldwide sales. Trade shows, field service, equipment installations, and frequent customer contact were additional earned duties.

Through P/L evaluations and outsourcing redirection, margins for several pieces of equipment increased by 15%.

Charting and publishing labor analysis improved efficiency by 13%.
