Chief Financial Officer

Engineered a financial and operational turnaround of this $300 million healthcare staffing company, majority owned by The Carlyle Group. Reversed precipitous sales decline and operating losses in prior years, attaining double-digit gains in sales/revenue and restoring profitability.

Key accomplishments as CFO included: recapitalized the balance sheet through amendment of JPM credit agreement in default and issuance of new stock series, restructured the self-retained insurance program to reduce risk exposure, and corrected accounting deficiencies to restore integrity of financial statements.

Key accomplishments as President of the $100 million Travel Division included: increased hospital client retention and new contracts; accelerated nurse recruitment nationally to staff new hospital customers; and, applied contract algorithms to improve pricing and associated operating margins.
