Summary of Experience

At 6 years old I enjoyed playing with plaster, sweeping floors, watching my uncle produce dentures, partials, crowns and bridges. My older cousins worked hard waxing units, casting metal, polishing. I helped in the lab until I was 17 years old. If you weren't busy in the lab, you were in the way and I wanted to stay. Play turned into work at the plaster bench, unpaid of course, but the knowledge, love of dental technology and work ethic I learned was worth more than money. I have made a great many dentures, partials, flippers, over dentures, crowns, bridges, night guards, bleaching trays and orthodontic appliances over the last 30 years. I have worked with great dentists young and old, our common ground has always been to help each other make the best prosthetic for the patient.

In January 2014 I moved to NJ I had worked for a company for over 9 years and felt like technology had passed me by. I took some courses in implant technology and worked with several talented implant technicians.

I have completed the MDT program through ASMDT

Starting in Ohio I worked alone making dentures and partials. Competent in all phases of removable prosthetic. Aspen hired a technician with limited skills they asked me to train her so she could run the lab on her own The manager of the flexible department in Syracuse NY quit. Upper management called asked if I would come to NY, check out the lab and the Flexible department. a month later I moved to NY I acquired a staff of 17 and the flexible department. For the next 18 months I trained and cross trained my staff Assessed dentists needs and recommended appropriate flexible products Built rapport with Dentists through effective and precise communication. February 2008 Aspen hired and relocated a Dentist to Biddeford ME Aspen needed a strong technician to run the laboratory they asked if I would cover the lab until they found a technician willing to relocate to Maine I agreed

While in Biddeford ME I trained 4 technicians and helped many more improve their skills I am a all round certified technician and enjoy my trade of 35 plus years Affordable Dentures, Macon GA 2001 to 2005
