I have completed the graduation (B. Tech Hons) in Mechanical from Preston University. Recently I am working as a Junior Engineer Mechanical being representative of Associated Consulting Engineers
(ACE) to render consultancy services for Neelum Jhelum Hydro-Electric Power Project of Capacity 969 MW, Run of the River, Pakistan first Under Ground Hydro Electric Power Station with Total Tunnel Length of 65.5 Km. Neelum Jhelum Hydropower Station comprises on 4 Vertical Axis Francis Turbine
(243.25 MW each) at rated head 370m.
I have almost 9+ years’ professional experience in Supervision, Installation / Erection, Testing and Commissioning of Hydropower Stations, Auxiliary Equipment, Turbine & Generator, Hydraulic Gates Steel Structure, Pipeline, Over Head Bridge Cranes and HVAC System. I supervised the Contractors during the execution of construction activities at a fabrication yard Participate in reviewing detailed design drawings method statements material requisitions and Co-ordination. I have a good level of computer literacy and proficient in all version of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Windows, and CAD. I have excellent communication and presentation skills in both written and verbal English.
I learnt the technical knowhow of this line of work and actively participated with the full team of Consultants and Contractor, under the able guidance of my superiors in activities related to Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Commissioning of Project and General Supervision of the works for implementation of miscellaneous Power Projects.

As Inspector Mechanical working with Neelum Jhelum Consultants Joint Venture of MWH (U.S) Norplan
(Norway), NDC (Pakistan), NESPAK (Pakistan), ACE (Pakistan). I am responsible to render consultancy services for Neelum Jhelum Hydropower Project of Capacity 969 MW, Run of the River, Under Ground Hydro Electric Power Station with Total Tunnel length of 65.5 Km comprising of 4 Vertical Axis Francis Turbine (243.25 MW each) at rated head 370m. The Project envisages the diversion of Neelum waters through 28km tunnels at Nauseri to Chattar Kallas where the Underground Powerhouse is located. Considerably contributed for various important decisions at site, assisting resident engineer in various matters, effective co-ordination with Client & Contractors. Office Based Responsibilities: -
Effectively handling Yearly, Quarterly, Monthly, Weekly and Daily Progress Reports and Presentations.

Drawings Reviews & Quantity Survey.
Assisting Resident Engineer and Assistant Resident Engineers in reviews of Method Statements and other activities.
Timely drawing co-ordination with civil & electrical department on various issues.
Evaluate Scope of Work, Bill of Quantities (BOQ). Specification & drawings, Conditions of Contract.

Technical / Site Based Responsibilities: -
Supervised the installation of Bonneted Gate, Draft Tubes, Spiral Case (ø2600mm), Distributor Assembly including Wicket Gates, Head Cover and Bottom Ring Labyrinth Rings and their Associated Checks and NDT performed by Contractor.
Examined the Spiral Case Hydrostatic Pressure tests carried out at 7.425MPa (1.5% of Nominal Pressure)
Supervised the manufacturing (by rolling of plates Thickness up to 42mm and varied dia from ø2600mm toø4200mm) and installation of Penstock segments (of Length 6m) of Mild Steel along with associated NDT and sand blasting, painting and cement wash.
Supervised the assembly and installation of Main Inlet Valve of ø 2600mm to control the flow of water for generating unit.
Monitored the punching / Pressing of Stator Flabellate Sheet for Hydraulic Generator and Rotor and witnessed the associated Tests performed by Contractor.
Supervision of Fabrication, Welding, Installation and Hydrostatically Pressure Testing of Stainless Steel and Mild Steel Pipes up to ɸ 577mm at 1.5% of their design pressure for Unit Auxiliary Systems
(Compressed Air, Lube Oil, Cooling Water Supply & Drain, Fire Fighting, HVAC and Tunnel Dewatering etc.
Successfully supervised the installation and commissioning of two bridge cranes of capacity 275x30 Tons installed for erection and maintenance of units. Commissioned the 100T & 45Tons Bridge Cranes Installed for handling of penstock at C-2.
Supervising the Survey of Overhead Bridge Crane 270x30Tons to know the impact of convergence of powerhouse. I have supervised the all Temporary and permanent re-settings carried out by Contractor.
Successfully commissioned the 5-ton overhead crane for installed for erection of GIS system.
Inspection of incoming materials, Mechanical parts and Assemblies; mark and complete appropriate documentation to assure compliance with P.O. requirements and specifications.
Records test results and inspection data, and compares findings with specifications / drawings to assure quality and completion of Project.
Supervised Installation of hanging structure and false Ceiling (Corrugated Sheet Type)
Read and Analyze Drawings, Manuals, Verify Measurements of Mechanical Equipment, and Test the Ascribed Capabilities record and maintain inspection and test records.
Supervise & monitored the welding team during different welding processes (1G, 2G, 3G, 4G), Checking the quality of welding by applying NDT methods (Ultrasonic Testing, Radiographic testing and DPT).

As Inspector Mechanical worked with Jinnah Hydropower Management Consultants has assigned the responsibilities for the supervision of eight (8) Hydal units of Kaplan Pit Type Horizontal Shaft Turbine installed at Jinnah Hydropower Project of Capacity (12 8) 96 MW at Kalabagh District Mianwali. It is located along the right side of the Jinnah Barrage. Responsibilities: -
All associated auxiliary system power plant such as Cooling Water System and Water Treatment System of Drinking Water, Power Plant Supply, Lubrication System of Bearing, Compressed Air System including Medium and Low Pressure for Turbine Governor System and Unit Braking System, and HVAC System etc.
Supervised the installation of Trash Racks, Trash Rack Cleaning Machine (TRCM) and Gantry Cranes for handling of Stoplogs at Upstream and Downstream of the power house embedded parts of Stoplogs.
Supervised the Dry and Wet the Commissioning Tests of the units, Stabilization of the Temperatures of the unit, and Load Rejection Tests, performance of units for 72 Hours and 30 Days Reliability Run
(at Full Load) of each Unit. Recorded all necessary data during all above mentioned tests and witnessed the Over Speed Trip Test of the unit.
Prepared the punch list of deficiencies of Mechanical works.

Carried out the inspection and witnessed the Non Destructive Testing (NDT) of field welds of the turbine structure and parts

As Supervisor Mechanical worked with Andritz Hydro Limited and had assigned responsibilities for the supervision of Four Hydal units of Kaplan Bulb Type Horizontal Shaft installed at New Bong Escape Hydro Electric Complex of Capacity (21 4) 84 MW at Village Lehri, Tehsil and District Mirpur. Responsibilities: -
Supervise the installation of auxiliary system such as Cooling Water System and Water Treatment System of Drinking Water, Dewatering System of Units, Power House Drainage System, all type of embedded parts, Stop Logs Embedded Parts and Frames.
Participated in installation of major parts of Turbine such as Draft Tube Liner, Stay Ring Assembly, Stay Columns, Pit Liner, and Embedded Piezometer Lines for recording of Head Race, Tail race and Trash Rack Differential Heads.
Also participated in testing carried out at site such as Ultrasonic Test and Dye Penetrant Tests of the several welding joints of Kaplan Turbine parts. Moreover, I took part in Hydrostatic Pressure Tests carried out at Dewatering and Drainage Pipe Lines of the power house.

Carried out fitting and fabrication of all types of Embedded Parts, Embedded HVAC Ducts, Embedded Water Supply Pipelines, Unit Dewatering and Drainage Pipelines, Stoplogs Embedded Parts and Frames, Embedded Pads for the Trash Racks,
Supervised the installation of Turbine major parts such as Draft Tube Liner, Stay Rings, Stay Columns, Pit Liner and their embedded parts, Water Distribution Assembly and Runner Hub and Servomotor Assembly.
