I work as Chief Engineer at LUL/TFL, 15/04/2010-Present.

- Securing over £30m of Consultancies for TFL in the London area, ranging from multi million building projects to small machinery refurbishments.

- Establishing new technical and engineering consultancy within AP JNP, TFL.

- Architect of future strategic direction for the operation of the business, capital projects as well as maintenance. This includes future planning and design of buildings and stations, layout of assets and infrastructure.

- Dealing with assuring assets to be used for passenger service. The assets can be rails, stations/building/bridges, escalators, lifts, tunnels movements, and signals.

- Lead Engineer at Tube Lines Ltd (AP JNP), 1/8/2005-15/04/2010;

- To manage a team of mechanical engineers and test inspectors as well as managing a drawings office which contains 45000 engineering drawings.

- The work varies from designing new mechanical components to modifying existing components in assets like escalators, lifts, rail way tracks, signals, and various other parts and assemblies used in underground stations. 2

- Projects like stations or lifts or tracks or escalators refurbishments with a minimum tag cost between 1.5-10m each project.

- Projects management by conducting planning, costing, arranging assets inspections, checking designs to standards, writing specifications as well as testing, then reporting to directors.

- Issue many studies, specifications and standards to determine, evaluate and establish the assets conditions in regard to whether they can be safely assured for passengers use.

- I have invented, designed and built products like the smart step, the hydraulic tensioning carriage and the smart test rig.

- To manage projects (costs, plans, schedules, and prototype building, evaluation and tests) to manufacture microwave moisture measurement sensors from prototype to production.

Density independent technique was implemented on a microwave technique to increase the yield of the product. The propagation pattern of microwaves was studied in different applications to come up with new concepts for new products. Now, I manage a design office as well as working on multi millions projects for London Underground Network. I am working on solving multi millions problems, ranging from tracks, trains to lifts and escalators. I work with contractors to deliver the projects.
