SUMMARY

Senior Reservoir Engineer with 15+ years’ experience in all aspects of Canadian oil and gas property evaluations including reserves, resources, economics, and risk. Expertise includes conventional and unconventional oil & gas, tight and shale oil & gas, horizontal multistage hydraulic fracturing, water flood, polymer flood, ASP flood, CO2 miscible gas flood, CHOPS, CSS, and SAGD.

Prepared independent reserves reports on 100+ WCSB properties, fields, and pools for 30+ public and private oil and gas companies including ARC Resources, Bonavista Energy, Caltex Resources, ConocoPhillips, Crescent Point, City of Medicine Hat, Encana, Harvest Operations, Imperial Oil, Pengrowth, Penn West, Gear, CNPC Canada, Daylight Energy and MEG Energy.

Audited and evaluated numerous EOR projects including major ongoing and potential ASP/polymer flooding properties such as Strathmore Lower Mannville B Pool, Wainwright B pool, Wildmere Lloyd and East Bodo Lloyd in Alberta, and Battrum Roseray and Cactus Lake Lloyd pools in Saskatchewan. Industry experience is complemented by 2 Master’s degrees related to EOR and heavy oil recovery, and 8 years’ experience as a university lecturer, researcher, and oilfield chemistry consultant. Ø Reserve Estimation Techniques: probabilistic and deterministic methods coupled with material balance, decline analysis, type curve generation, volumetric calculation, recovery factor forecasts, and reservoir simulation forecasts.
