Converting Non Parametric body to parametric body.

Replacing surfaces of the existing components and updating with new surfaces given by customers.

Design and development of plastics features such as Rib, Boss, Dog House, Snaps, Locators, etc as per their requirements.

1. Project Part: Design of Interior Door Trim Parts. Component Worked: Insert and Map Pocket


Based on design consideration feasibility checking for styling A surface as input.

Generation of B surface from A surface as input, while Clear minor issues in A surfaces after customer confirmation if any presents and maintaining a uniform thickness keeping in view of manufacturing feasibility.

Creating solid body as per customer needs showing parting line.

Maintain generous radius to avoid sharp corners.

Design and Development of B side attachment features considering the undercuts and the use of Slider and Lifters.

Maintaining designing criteria of fixation to avoid plastic defects and providing drafts for easy removal.

Study the conventional door panel with their A side and B side Features and fixing criteria.

Checking all parts before delivering it to the customer as per check list for draft analysis, tooling feasibility, clearance analysis with environment/internal parts, fixations, locators etc.

Tooling and welding feasibility.

Component Worked: Switch Bezel –RH, LH.


Given style surfaces and switch interface.

B Surface creation and features.

Decide directions for the Slider/lifter.

Checking clash with environment data.

Prepare Checklist for the parts as per guideline. Component Worked: Décor Bezel.


To make a close surface of input style with the help of master section and environment part data

Making cutouts to accommodate features of the environment part

To make depressions for the welding cylinders

Create parting line, main tooling direction and slider directions for draft analysis of the part.

2. Project Part: Instrument Panel.

Component Worked: Driver Lower Panel and Fuse Box Cover. Responsibility:

Replace the given A surface of Fuse Box Cover with the new style given by customer.

Update all operations performed on previous surface after replacement.

Power Copy the Clip Tower on Fuse Box Cover.

Check clips positions.

Create cutouts for Clip Tower on Driver Lower Panel.

Create parting line, main tooling direction and slider directions for draft analysis of the part.

Adjust Fuse Box Cover to Driver Lower Panel.

Project Title: Non Conventional Energy Source Using Piezoelectric Material.

(July 2016-May 2017)


The main objective of project is generate electric power by non conventional method.

Thus the generation of power by walking or running on foot step. System does not require any input to generate electric power.
