My Duties are:

LTE main responsibilities:

Monitoring, analysis and optimization of LTE KPIs

Coverage, quality and capacity optimization through parameters, new strategies and physical antenna tuning.

WCDMA & LTE multilayer strategy planning and management

Good Knowledge of Ericsson LTE features, parameters, KPI’s & counters

KPIs definition: Accessibility, Retainability, Integrity, and mobility

Network performance analysis, RF optimization and LTE dimensioning according to drive test measurements

LTE Parameter Planning including PRACH, PCI, PDCCH, PUCCH Initial Parameter Planning

MIMO, Carrier Aggregation and Throughput enhancement and optimization

Modify ANR parameters and relations, solving PCI conflicts and tuning LTE events to enhance Handover Success Rate over the network

Reduce network drop rate as well as Improve cell Throughput by suggesting parameters and features trials

RwR, CSFB, Paging audit and Call Setup Duration investigation and troubleshooting

3G main responsibilities:

Optimization and monitoring of the network KPIs (Accessibility, Retainability, Integrity, and Mobility) using several tools like: OSS and Business Object (ENIQ) on a daily bases.

Optimization of HSPA+/EUL Throughput, performance and all related features and configurations.

Schedule periodic audit on network level to improve Network performance and solving discrepancies.

Good Knowledge of Ericsson 3G features, parameters, KPI’s & counters.

Periodic capacity Analysis to avoid congestion in 3G, and actions for CE, BB capacity, license upgrades and dimensioning for HW upgrades.

Post-processing and analysis of the drive tests using TEMS and ACTIX

(investigate drop calls, missing neighbors and pilot pollution, Co-scrambling code, Cross feeders) and accordingly take a proper actions to solve problems.

Good experience in using ASTELLIA probes to analyze, report and troubleshoot issues related to network efficiency, handset performance, mobile services performance, and subscriber usage.

Analyzing WNCS, WMRR to troubleshooting worst cells and solving their problems with proper criteria per network/ cell wise

Initiation of traces on cell and IMSI basis to check Layer 3 messages (CTR, UETR, GPEH)

Definition of neighbor (Intra, Inter and Irat) relations

Planning and designing coverage, quality and capacity sites.

Propose new site for coverage, capacity from Detail DT & customer complaint

Events planning and Optimization (capacity parameters preparations/ decide new installation) to ensure proper services during events such as Formula 1 event (Bahrain International Circuit).

Have good knowledge on Ericsson Radio Base Stations (RBS 6000)

2G main responsibilities:

Regular monitoring of network statistics and Parameter Optimization and features implementation (AMR, IRC, CLS, HCS, DTM

Radio troubleshooting & Investigation.

Daily report for Top worst cells in the network.

Performance Monitoring and generating reports for TCH congestion, SDCCH congestion and utilization.

Optimizing new and existing sites making sure the site performance according to design objectives.

Good Experience with Ericsson OSS (RNO: FAS, MRR, NCS)

Dealing with Ericsson Radio Base Stations, Ericsson tools and applying Ericsson’s standards.
