Design is done in more generic way that on boarding of new customer can be done in lesser time with minimum configuration changes.

Description

oDeveloped this application alone using MVC 4 on three tier architecture

oEDI Document tracking system is an essential web based tracking tool that is used by various NCR's Internal application and business teams (ERP, ES, IPS/systemedia, ADMS etc.) to track the EDI transactions, to process Purchase orders that comes in from customers and to trouble shoot any production failures that occurs due to data or format issue

oEDI DTS empowers the application and business users with information that helps them to analyse issues and reports, for which otherwise they will have to get back to EDI team very frequently through Incidents and Tasks, which would ultimately increase the lead time of a business operation.

oEDI tracking system keeps 100 days archive data, so it also acts as a single source of NCR's EDI data that comes handy while handling EDI support issues like reprocessing any past EDI transactions etc.

Description

As per the current process, EDI team maintains central repository (EDI Turnover) for all the incidents/tasks received/assigned to other application teams (ES, ERP, IPS etc.). This process is completely manual and has high probability of human errors. Two major impacts are as below:

oInaccurate reporting and misleading information.

oUnnecessary EDI support efforts (1.5 hour daily) which is non-value added and can be eliminated through automation.

oAutomate the manual entry process
