Worked in Americana co. Saudi Arabia branch (Restaurants division) as Supply chain Planning Manager – KSA cluster (January 2013 – December 2017) and responsible for handling all subject belong to restaurant chains KFC, Hardees, KK, TGI Fridays & Red Lobster in KSA from abroad .

Job description for current job:

Direct or coordinate production, purchasing, warehousing, distribution, or financial forecasting services or activities to limit costs and improve accuracy, customer service, or safety. Examine existing procedures or opportunities for streamlining activities to meet product distribution needs. Direct the movement, storage, or processing of inventory.

Responsible for handling all subjects belong to krispy Kreme, Hardees and KFC restaurants in KSA from abroad.

Monitor supplier performance to assess ability to meet quality and delivery requirements.

Develop material costs forecasts or standard cost lists.

Monitor forecasts and quotas to identify changes or to determine their effect on supply chain activities.

Meet with suppliers to discuss performance metrics, to provide performance feedback, or to discuss production forecasts or changes.

Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement, engineering, and quality assurance, to identify or qualify new suppliers.

Analyze inventories to determine how to increase inventory turns, reduce waste, or optimize customer service.

Participate in the coordination of engineering changes, product line extensions, or new product launches to ensure orderly and timely transitions in material or production flow.

Identify opportunities to reuse or recycle materials to minimize consumption of new materials, minimize waste, or to convert wastes toby-products. Responsible for preparing a forecast sheet developed by using MS-Excel to make our work easier every month for all items (food, nonfood items) supplied from abroad (USA, UAE, CHINA) after check our stock in all our warehouses in KSA and then start calculate our monthly consumption and if there is any special promotion we will add those items and based on this full study I determine my 6

Responsible for intimating the products to our Operation team to use the specific product which is going to be expire or not moving fast due to low sales and we informed to operation team to launch new offer to this products to avaoid any more wastage.

Responsible for online registration for the new labels on SFDA(Saudi Food & Drug Authority) and after submission online with SFDA we will wait for the confirmation for the SFDA approval on this label

Responsible for handling all a correspondence emails daily with a supplier abroad for all orders and follow up all our orders start from sending it until the goods arrived here at our warehouses .

Conduct negotiations with suppliers and choose the right price after an online bidding process happened.

New promotions:

Responsible for the new promotional items which we take care to place an order with the supplier for these items.

Responsible to take a PSD from the Marketing and operations for the items which need to place an order.

Responsible for converting this PSD into raw materials after received from marketing and operations.

Responsible for to check the items which already exist already in our stock for this promotion.

Responsible for SFDA procedure for this new items need to be register online system.

Responsible for taking care items till it reaches to the proper destination.

Responsible for communicating with the franchises and regional supply chain head management to negotiate the price for the new items.

Responsible for placing order till the clearance happen for this ordered items before 3 months of starting of campaign.

Responsible of making analysis for the LTO (limited time offer) items which need to move faster or slower according to the sales and send this information to Operations and Marketing teams to keep them in the same loop.
