Inventory Controller – Distribution Center

Key Responsibilities:

In-Charge of All DC sales and Inventory upholding FIFO and FSM Standards within Dry, Chiller &Frozen Storage Areas and Damaged/Non-Conforming Products Section

Handling Six distribution channels – Picking in the warehouse ie. 4x Store replenishment, E-Commerce, External sales, Major restaurants, Bulk sales, Baqal via Talabat.com

Organizing the Warehouse Inbound, stock allocation, put away and Managing space Management in the Staging aria to Avoid space Contracts.

Implemented developed and maintained inventory control policies and procedures.

Ordered and tracked inventory on hand, in pipeline and optimizing space utilization in the warehouse locations.

Work closely with retail operations sales executives and management to dispatch the customer deliveries and store replenishment on time to avoid loss sales and achieve customer satisfaction.

Ensures the logistics and warehouse team compliance with all standard policies and procedures in addition to providing suggestions and ideas on ways to improve systems and processes

Handling Compliance and Store and Supplier Returns

Supervising the team to maintain the weekly KPI’s in the warehouse, to ensure that the Inventory Coordinator, Helpers, Store Driver and Reach Truck Operators maintain the standards and achieve the goals set for the department.

Controls Inventory levels by conducting physical & cycle counts; reconciling with data storage system to ensure availability is 99% in all storage locations.

Regular system checks to keep the data integrity up to the high standards ie. Cross-checking of Sales Order, daily dispatches, Bin-to-Bin and Site-to-Site Transfers.

Weekly analysis of fast moving and non-moving articles in the warehouse, ensuring that the fast mover stock is available for our customers and the non-moving articles are cleared to increase space in the warehouse.

Organizing and In-Charge of Daily Stock Checks and Bi-Annual /Annual Physical Inventories with Finance Review.

Setting Monthly Priorities for Distribution Center.

Managing of Positive and Negative Shrink and Wastage.

Planning and coordinating warehouse inventory stock, logistics and customer delivery.

Optimizing complete order cycle for Dry & Fresh fruits and vegetables, and maintaining product quality, stock levels, slow moving products, delivery timing, transport cost and efficiency.

Coordinating with the delivery team on the daily customer on-time deliveries and its fulfillment, ensuring customer satisfaction which is part of my weekly KPI’s.
