During April-June 2015.

During this period, I have acquired hands-on experience in the PMFD division (Plant

Manufacturing Facility Department).

- Involved in the modification of Mould assembly drawings, QC related

Documentation and other routine works in the department.

Achievements:

CVDP Heater plate design: Taken measurements at field and modified the

Design of the heater plate. Now product loss eliminated.

Jam Stopper: For the new Santro, Alto, Ace,Gdb and Indica models, the mould

Design has been modified as per customer requirements, thus damage to the

Cavity box has been avoided.

Locating Piece of T/W family Mould: Modified the design and sent to

Suppliers.

3-D Model: Prepared a 3D model for the Preform Cavity Mould and Machine

and created a presentation video. This has fetched 2nd prize to RBL Pondy in

the 10th ACMA QCC competition held at Bengaluru.

II. Jan-Mar 2016 Undergone internship at RANE BRAKE LINING LTD, Pondicherry for a period of 3

months starting from Jan, 2016.

During this period, I have acquired hand-on experience in the PMFD division (Plant

Manufacturing Facility Department).

Achievements:

Design Support to the QCC Team in RBL. Prepared 3D modeling of

a design change and created a video presentation of the same, thus

facilitating the QCC team in participating in a national level competition.

Was presented with an award from the RBL technical team towards my

contribution to design and video presentation.

Two wheeler cavity box design was modified from 4 cavity to 5 cavity, thus

increasing the production from 24 pieces/cycle to 30 pieces/cycle.

New Poke-Yoke implemented in the four wheeler GDB locating piece to avoid

wrong positioning of the back plate in the cavity box thus avoiding failures of

the cavity box.

Four wheeler cavity box re-designed from 2 cavity to 3 cavity thus increasing

the production from 16 piece/cycle to 24 piece/cycle.

Jam stopper for the new Santro, Alto, ACE and Indica models was

implemented based on customer complaint thus avoiding the damage to the

cavity box.
