Formula SAE University of Michigan-Dearborn September 2016 – June 2017
In Formula SAE, my focus was primarily manufacturing.
I led most all CNC manufacturing projects for the 2017 race season, machining molds for the large carbon fiber aerodynamic components of the race car (diffuser).
My manufacturing duties also included machining jigs for chassis production, machining suspension components, and manufacturing a body mold.
Hands on experience included aiding in carbon fiber wing layups, along with observing and helping set up engine dyno testing.
Work Experience
Data Analyst RaceNote, Inc. September 2015 – November 2017
At RaceNote Inc. I worked as a data analyst for NASCAR Monster Energy Series teams (as a private contractor). I began working at RaceNote during their first season and continued to work there until the company was sold after the 2017 MENCS season concluded.
My duties included processing and sorting team audio in real-time during races, post-processing the filtered audio to be used in the post-race meetings of RaceNote’s clients, and conducting quality assurance to ensure consistency in RaceNote’s product.
