EXPERIENCE:
DIESEL MECHANIC
* Maintaining diesel mobile and stationary machines availability - proper
maintenance scheduling, instruction and over inspection, ensuring
maximum productivity at all times.
* ensure that health, safety and environmental good practices (ISO 14001 )
are strictly adhere to through ongoing risk assessments and job obser-
vations.
* Assess training requirements of staff and schedule training courses.
* Responsible for annual budgeting (labor and working costs).
* Preparing budgets for the annual and capital equipment replacements.
* Controlling and monitoring monthly budget expenditures.
* Responsible for all Diesel projects undertaking in area of responsibility.
* Implementation of energy and cost saving initiatives.
* Ensure up to date record keeping changes done to reticulation and diesel

* Preparing weekly reports to Colliery Engineer ( availability of machines,
breakdown and shift reports, Sunday labor reports, standby and safety
reports).

* Keeping stock levels up to date and re-order critical spares.
