Project Description:
Printer Clean Up: In 2007 CSX removed around 1300 printers from various locations but they were not cleaned up from programs hardcoded and databases. This caused various issues within CSX, as still prints went to the deleted printers that caused queuing problems and at times resulted in train delay as well. So, CSX technology came with a solution to remove these printer ids from programs and databases by creating a code set that lists all the live printers so that it can be changed in the future without changing the programs.
C2EC: C2EC is the conversion project from Cobol II and Cobol MVS to Enterprise Cobol. Worked on more than 500 components on various applications that enhances the performance with new runtime library infrastructure.
Certifications/Achievements:
Received commendations from client business on my work on various projects that brought significant cost reduction, automation and time effective solutions.
Received NTT Outstanding award for my contributions on Advance Train Project.
Keane certified mainframe programmer and completed project management internal trainings.
