Academic Project Experience

Design of 3D Tissue Scaffolds for Drug Testing.

Current HTS advancements normally utilize cell construct microarrays that are based with respect to two dimensional (2D) substrates. Henceforth, the requirement for 3D cell-based microarrays that are equipped for duplicating the typical working of the various tissues in the body. The tissue scaffold was designed using SolidWorks software and simulated. Tissue Scaffold printed and tested with microscope after drug was planted on the tissue with immersion methods.

Design and Manufacturing of Micro Needles.

The biggest drawback of drug delivery system is poor permeability through stratum corneum and

it can be overcome by using microneedles. Hence research is going on to design and manufacture

different types of microneedles to administer large molecules and to use different drugs in a single

Microneedle device.

Design, Analysis and Experimental Investigation of a new die for ECAP Process

(Equal Channel Angular Pressing)

The aim of this project was to produce an ultra-fine-grained material using ECAP technique, to examine the micro structural, mechanical and hardness properties of the material produced.
