For Torstar I was the Senior PM for the Assessment, Design and Implementation of SCCM for the XP, W7 and MAC computers and servers in the Torstar environment across Canada. Managing the vendor (Dell) and internal staff to ensure the project stayed within the timelines, scope and budget. Managed all risks and issues as well as provided mitigation plans. Ensured all testing was completed and software distribution worked within the Torstar environment and was signed off by the Business. Presented at CAB and held weekly team meetings as well as provided weekly status updates to the Project Steering committee comprised of internal and external stakeholders.
Accomplishments: Successfully delivered and tested SCCM on over 3,000 desktops and servers across Canada on time and within budget.
Senior Project Manager – Application Readiness Dec 12 – June 14
RBC
Senior PM for the Application Readiness group I worked with contacts (28) from all lines of business and third-party vendors to ensure all applications (over 2500) are W7 compatible, packaged and put into SCCM. I worked with the Release Management team to ensure the apps were distributed to the proper testing environments and then worked with the testing group and the business to ensure they had appropriate test plans and then tested, remediated as required and moved their apps to the production environment. The applications included a combination of web mobile, client server and mainframe applications. I tracked the issues and risks and worked with all lines of business on financial business cases to acquire funding for any remediation activity.
Accomplishments: Started with over 5,000 applications and brought this down to approximately 2800 which were packaged, tested, remediated required and moved to the production environment and delivered on time and within budget.

Loblaw
For Loblaw I was the Senior PM for deployment of Windows 7 to all stores across Canada plus three successfully implemented infrastructure projects (implementing Oracle Exadata, Hitachi storage upgrade and decommissioning of existing hardware as well as implementing DMZ monitoring servers in their DR environment. I was responsible for tracking timelines, issues/risks, communications to the stores and budget. I also managed internal IT resources within Loblaw as well as vendor and relationship management. The projects were all completed on time and within budget.
Accomplishments: Successful delivery of W7 to all stores across Canada as well as implementing an Oracle Exadata system, working with Hitachi on a storage upgrade for all the Loblaw Hitachi servers and implementing monitoring servers in the Loblaw DR environment and delivered within the timeline and budget.

For Ministry of Education I was the Project manager for the desktop build/deployment of 5,000 computers province-wide. My responsibilities included coordinating the planning and communication to all locations, budgeting, managing risks and issues and ensuring next day support was provided. I used Visio to provide to provide flow chats to the management team. I also worked closely with the business to ensure they provided feedback on the process through a survey and follow-up directly with them. I also helped lead a team which won an Amethyst award for innovation as we were providing webcasting services to all Ministries province wide. This originally started within the Ministry of Education but soon spread throughout the entire OPS.
Accomplishments: Successful build and deployment of 5,000 computers to all offices province wide and delivered within budget and timelines.

At Smart Systems I started as the Senior PM on the EMPI and Wait times project as well as the secure network deployment working with Health care provider’s province wide. I tracked all issues and risks and met weekly with internal and external Stakeholders to provide project updates. I then took over as a Senior Project Manager for the deployment of a province-wide secure email product to the Health care sector. I worked with all health care agencies including hospitals, LHINS, all telco providers and internal support teams to implement province wide. Weekly I provided status reports including all issues and risks as well as a mitigation plan and would present as required to internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Accomplishments: Successful delivery of the ONE NETWORK and ONE MAIL systems to the Health care sector across the province.
