Assortment Trait Administrator
1.Location Trait Custodianship
Serve as custodian of all new and existing assortment traits and values by acting as single point of contact for assortment trait value assignments and creation of new assortment trait values
Manage trait efficiency to prevent trait redundancy and to maintain streamlined assignment of traits
Own the migration from Location Lists to Location Traits
Resolve issues between Location Traits and Location Lists
2.New Store Process
Maintain the Assortment Trait Setup Form
Administer and distribute store specific versions of Assortment Trait Setup Form
Act as single point of entry for completed Assortment Trait setup Forms in Retek
Monitor and manage cross-functional compliance with New Store Setup timelines related to assortment traits only
Coordinate and monitor the completion of assortment trait assignments across multiple organization owners
3.Location Records Management
Act as Single Point of control for updates to existing store assortment traits
Partner with Category Management, Visual Merchandising and Quality Control as identified to investigate assortment trait change impacts
Coordinate assortment trait updates in Retek
Collaborate with Visual Merchandising to synchronize Store Assignment Central (SAC) Assignment Changes
Assist with creation of User Defined Attributes and Values along with Product Decision Hierarchy creations and maintenance.
4.Limited Distribution
Responsible for added items to Limited Distribution for both Basic and Fashion items
Ensure retired Limited Distribution items are removed
Coordinate across departments for Limited Distribution items, as needed
5.Actively partner with Category Management, Visual Merchandising, Merchandising, Store Operations, Inventory Control, Real Estate, Risk Management, and Supply Chain Departments
6.Collaborate with Category Management to perform periodic reassessments of trait values and thresholds and appropriate store assignments
7.Serve as Subject Matter (SME) and special project resource for Retek system upgrades and enhancements and other assortment trait related initiatives
8.Maintain process and procedural documentation related to Location Trait Setup/Maintenance, New Store Assortment Trait Setup, Location Trait Records Maintenance and Limited Distribution
9.Perform ongoing audits of SKU level information to ensure integrity is consistent across our Distribution Centers and Retek in order to ensure that items are set up accurately and completely, ensuring accurate item sales and margin data. Communicate necessary corrections to Data Integrity Analysts and follow up on completion.
10.Partner with Quality & Compliance on product recalls and product holds, including DC holds and store stop ships, using the Compliance Workflow.
