• Acted as project lead for the process development of forming a nailhead feature on FEP tubing, coordinating subject matter experts from both Insulet and an external supplier to align on methods, dates, and objectives. o Developed the measurement methods by which to evaluate individual pieces and running gauge R&R studies to completely align on accuracy.
o Used statistical techniques and software such as Jump to evaluate the robustness of the manufacturing process.
• Used mechanical design principles and worked extensively with large assemblies on Solidworks to design a selective sort station for an online production line.
o The design included pneumatic cylinders, pick and place mechanisms, and ergonomic safety guarding.
