I am a journalism graduate with six years of experience in content writing, SEO and copywriting. Writing is my passion, whether it is in a work environment, or as a personal pursuit. This is reflected in my previous roles, as well as the articles I have written voluntarily on subjects that I enjoy, such as football, which is the subject of my weekly blog. I have the enthusiasm and determination to succeed in the tasks I undertake. I believe the creativity and attention to detail I demonstrate in my work will help me to build a successful career in writing.

My experience includes ensuring that the copy produced by myself and other team members is fully compliant with Google Analytics. I have experience in utilising programs such as SEO Moz and SEO Book, as well as having a working knowledge of content management systems, such as Wordpress. I have built up a strong working knowledge of Quark express and basic HTML. My experience and social skills give me the ability to become a key member of a successful team.

During the last six years I have been working for a number of websites on a freelance basis, as well as holding permanent positions for a number of companies and contributing to my family business. My goal is to work for an organization where I can build a long-term career in writing, and I believe that I have the ability to take on the responsibility of this position immediately.

This company is an online support service, for schools and academies throughout the country. I worked as part of the ‘Need Further Help?’ team, which provides bespoke documents and solutions for educational institutions, within three working days.
