My initial duties were as product specialist for one manufacturer. I developed not only that market, but also the newly developed audio video integration department for this company owner that resulted in billings in excess of

$1 million annually for a department of myself and one technician. After the successful audio visual department was fully developed, it was re-assigned

to four new employees from another local company and I was re-assigned to develop the security and audio paging/intercom department. This included training of existing technicians for security installations and service. Additional Experience at other companies/Integrators, etc.

• I was a health care department manager, manager of security, professional audio, and CATV systems installations. I was also responsible for developing architect and engineer specifications, and to train technicians upon proper installation methods as well as act as installation technician as needed.

• The position I held immediately before Dagostino’s was as the technical support person for a multipoint video conference network to be headquartered in Cranberry Twp., PA. For this position I traveled to various states for demonstrations using a 3.5 meter satellite uplink dish, with high power burst modems and receivers via satellites in orbit.

• I had a full time temporary assignment at PNC Bank as a central video teleconference coordinator. In this position I was to coordinate daily use and support all six sites within the network as to proper function, service, and any required upgrades. I was also to support the locally installed multipoint bridge used for more than 3 simultaneous connections.

I am responsible for MEI Systems in becoming the Western Pennsylvania dealer/installed for a primary education program/clock intercom system known as CAREHAWK. This was to become one of MEI’s premier product lines.

I have worked on projects for: Frostburg State University, Allegheny Energy (Substation security), Johnson Controls, Cambria County Transit Authority, Reliant Energy (Conemaugh and Seward Power Generation Stations), North Allegheny School District, Ambridge Area School District, Manheim Township School District, etc.

My original duties were to provide installation estimates for all security systems as assigned (Access control, intrusion detection, and video surveillance.) plus small audio performance systems when required. These systems were in the Western Pennsylvania market.

I was then assigned to search for new projects, both in the bidding market for primary education, and the industrial market for security systems, and other systems as needed. As an applications designer, I was responsible to develop floor plan and riser drawings of all systems for which I estimate and propose install.

I was responsible for ACCENT in being designated as a KANTECH access control system (TYCO Product) installing dealer with three certified technicians, in addition to ACCENT being designated as a BOSCH ESCORT Emergency call system dealer for assisted living and/or incarceration facilities. I was then provided with an expanded market of Eastern OHIO which was to include all the systems I previously estimated. It was at this time that the title of applications engineer was assigned to me regarding all the security and audio system with which I worked.
