Successfully managed IT Infrastructure and application on boarding projects for about 50% of VCPI clients. Clients with 1 – 90 locations, which accounted for over 16 million in revenue for VCPI.

Created, documented, and continually improved the VCPI on boarding process to ensure happy clients for each on boarding.

Recently guided two clients through the on boarding process to MS 365 (cloud services), Exchange Online, OneDrive, with SharePoint migrations to the MS cloud.

Successfully completed a clinical/billing RFP project for Easter Seals of Southeast Wisconsin. Completed current and future process reviews for 7 service lines and found the new clinical/billing tool for the future.

Successfully guided VCPI through the deployment of a new cloud service desk tool called Service Now. Also successfully guided VCPI in the deployment of the Service Now problem management module and the change management module.

Participated in three major projects with IAM team at VCPI, started with the automation of provisioning with web based tool from Abridean Development Solutions, also managed a project to develop an in house Electronic Security Access Request Form (ESARF), participated in automating the ESARF system into home grown Identity Access Management system integrated with Service Now.

Successfully lead a development team that created a case mix indexing system, which increased CMI revenue by 1.2 million dollars the first year in service.

Successfully guided a development team through the SDM life cycle to build an Accident/Incident system used by over 160 Extendicare nursing homes.

Successfully managed an RFP project to replace a home grown therapy system for ProStep Therapy. Using the SDM we completed all requirements needed to find a tool for the future and migrated the company to Smart Therapy.

Successfully completed a major deployment project for WFC T&A and Kronos for 191 locations, over 20,000 employees. Deployment lasted 6 months, we hit exact target date, I was rewarded with a $10,000 bonus.

Managed project to create the VCPI SDLM process, with all supporting process flows and required documents.

Managed critical project to convert 38 EHSI assisted living centers over to EHSI’s sister company ALC. This project was completed in 120 days and very successful, it positioned ALC to go public early in 2007.

Many other smaller projects that covered MDS, Clinical, Reimbursement, Billing, and VCPI internal projects.

Successfully Off-Boarded many VCPI Clients over the 12 years in the PM role.

Applications under my direction were the Therapy system, the A/R front-end with the insurance subsystem, the Cert/Recert system, Time and Attendance system, Healthtrac, Accident/Incident system, all written in-house.

Also responsible for the clinical MDS packages, the KRONOS P/R package, the RFMS system which were all purchased packages.

All maintenance and interfaces to those systems above fell under my direction.

The A/R and Therapy systems billed out over $100 million per month.

Our team built and was accountable for the FTP process between the AS400 and over 250 locations. Our process handled over 2 million transactions per month and moved A/R reports from the AS400 to the facilities.

The Time and Attendance and KRONOS systems under my direction covered over 20,000 employees.

Our team designed, created, tested, and implemented the Healthtrac system in this time frame, which had a ROI of 2 million dollars per year.

Created the conversion plan and assisted with the conversion of over 180 facilities migrating to the Web A/R system, from the Character A/R system.

Researched, planned and directed major project to convert over 1,200 programs, 1,000,000 lines of code, hundreds of UNIX scripts from the character systems to the selected Web enabled platform.

Developed and directed the Y2K plan for all applications above, plus I assisted in the development and testing of the Y2K changes.

Designed and created the first UNIX/PROGRESS environments under EHSI.

Designed a simple version control process and the initial directory structures for the UNIX/PROGRESS environments.

Created Progress program templates, which helped other developers create standardized menus, lookups, and on-line help.

Played a vital role in deploying the first 200 SCO Unix servers into the nursing homes, running a character clinical MDS system called Benchmark/Achieve.

Defined, created, and tested the initial UNIX and PROGRESS environments required for the clinical software rollout.
