Hired to perform contract M&A work for companies consulting on M&A opportunities in financial services and healthcare industries. Atlantium designs, develops, and provides web-based software products and services for financial institutions, insurance companies, and real estate investment concerns. Identify and discuss potential M&A activities with targeted companies’ CEOs. Key contributions include:

Identified 6 health care companies in past 8 months that are under due diligence process for M&A activities. Researched companies and their business owners to understand their products/services and management team.

Evaluated similarities, strengths, and weaknesses of potential M&A candidates to determine their economic value as merger partners. These proposed mergers will add $25 Million in additional economic value.

Established baseline for merger negotiations through providing exchange and analysis of important financial, legal, marketing, technical, contract, and product/services information.



Brought in to increase market share during mortgage industry’s declining period and to identify new products and

services that would add to bottom-line profitability. Key challenges involved working with two owners having different corporate goals and objectives in growing business:

Originated B-2-B loan/credit underwriting/documentation for commercial and consumer clients.

Secured $150 Million+ residential and commercial real estate loans within first six months.

Obtained government state and national approval for mortgage broker operations, and concurrently identified and received investor approval for more than 15 new institutional, portfolio, and private lenders.

Spearheaded mortgage correspondence program to target market-specific loan programs and products to financial institutions and real estate companies. Program achieved investors ROE goals by loan type.

Reduced operating expenses 20% annually and improved overall operating efficiencies and loan closings.

Completed 23+ bank acquisitions with assets totaling over $11B. Improved annual gross earnings an average of 20% and concurrently reduced operating expenses by $20 Million, or (11%) percent respectively.

Facilitated improvements in regulatory loan audits, ROA, and ROE for community banks by driving development and licensing of an integrated credit analysis and loan-pricing/documentation program for commercial lending.

Reduced operating costs 60% ($3.7MM) for mortgage subsidiary of $1.8B savings bank through reorganization efforts (e.g., closing several loan production offices, defining new loan origination goals, and setting up virtual offices).

Spearheaded commercial credit analysis, risk analysis, underwriting, and pricing model that boosted institutions’ profitability on per loan basis by .50% to 1.0% in interest rate pricing and by .50 to 75 bsp in fee income per loan.

Innovated deal involving acquisition of 15 banks with 150 branches, deposits, and loans for $3B bank. Implemented retail branch, market, customer, and product profitability model that led to $3.5 Million operating cost reduction and $1.5 Million deposit product cost reduction.
