Job Description:-

Operation Section

Capable for Line-up of the unit and its auxiliaries, Start-up,Normal Operation & Safe Shut down as per SLDC, Blackout -Normalizationof Boiler& turbo- generator. ensuring the safety operations of company assets.

Ensuring for contingency planning and Emergencies preparedness to handle emergencies during sudden equipment failure, Monitoring& tracking plant performance parameter.

Emergencies handling by taking split second decision to reduce plant tripping. This involves establishing close coordination with operators to ensure accuracy of readings and to provide work direction to achieve optimum operating conditions.

Ensuring all Control loops to work in proper condition, checking and modification of logics to avoid unnecessary plant tripping’s &equipment’ damage.

Ensuring UPS systems healthiness, DC equipment trial along with DG trial(alternate days) to safeguard unit during emergency condition.

Ensuring PM of equipment done in as per schedule.

Ensuring best operational methods to lower LDO consumption during plant start up.

Performing the role of O&M coordinator during shut down period to maintain coordination between different department, so that shut down work can be carry out within short Period.

Capable for operating the unit with negligible losses, performance monitoring thereby reduced auxillary Consumption, higher efficiency, high PLF and low heat rate.

Ensuring Compilation of defect and raised in SAP.

Protection/Interlock bypass log book is maintained for monitoring safety of equipments and bypassed only by authorised by HOD & O&M Head.

Commissioning Section

Lead a team of discipline Engineers in preparation and execution of commissioning of process plants assuming entire responsibility for the completion of the implementation in conformance with HSSE standard.

Ensure the development of integrated commissioning plans including the scope of commissioning activities, duration, interlinked activities, resources required, constraints as well as availability of tools and machinery.

Prepare manpower organisation to fulfil the commissioning schedule. Coordinate with other

departments/ agencies to resolve interface problems.

Executed Commissioning of Boiler& its auxillaries, Turbine &its auxillaries, Balance of plant package like Fuel oil Systems, Valves and actuators, Miscellaneous Pumps, Compressors, HVAC systems.

Technical Services:-

Maintain Log And time sheets for all shift operations and abnormal events. Include all relevant details and any problems encountered during work. Ensuring proper shift schedule thereby establishing stress free working enviroment for desk engineer and operator to take out 100% commitment from them.

Maintain Log sheet of DG oil level before and after trial taken thereby estimating diesel consumption.

Record Hydrogen Cylinder consumption per shift to maintain hydrogen plant production.

Knowledge impartment by time to time, technical discussion with sub-ordinates.

Responsible for technical lead and co-ordination with the other project team members, sub suppliers, external partners involved in the project i.e. planning, scheduling construction, commissioning under the overall lead of the plant manager.
